Kandi is an experienced scientist who appreciates that technical decisions are made by people. The teaming of her technical, experience-rich background with conflict-management techniques is extremely useful during stakeholder consensus building and closure negotiations. Kandi focuses on helping clients understand the complex technical, liability management, and sustainability issues they face daily.

Using Decision Consequence Analysis and Portfolio Risk Management Analysis®, she assesses the impact of uncertainty on the value and sustainability of built and natural infrastructure. She has a proven record of executing complex environmental restoration projects ranging from site identification through closure under RCRA and CERCLA in both the public and private sector.

She has built a career from her practical knowledge of field implementation, program management, site closure negotiation, and the management of multimillion-acre portfolios with cost liabilities of up to $5 billion. Kandi earned a B.S. in Biology from Tennessee Technological University and an M.S. in Microbiology from Eastern New Mexico University. Graduate studies include Civil Mediation and Civil Engineering. She is a Rule 31 Listed Mediator in Tennessee and is on the Environmental Conflict Resolution Center roster.
